These complaints are handled by code enforcement.

Inside town limits: report to the Town or Pinal County Code Enforcement. Either office can take the report; the county performs the inspection and enforcement under an agreement with the Town.

Unincorporated: report to Pinal County.

Opening a business

Inside town limits, a town business license will be required once the program launches October 1, 2026. Sign permits inside town limits go through Town Planning & Zoning.

Potholes, street lights, and traffic calming

Inside town limits: traffic signals and street lights are the Town's responsibility. Traffic calming requests go to the Town Engineer. Call 520-216-5702.

Unincorporated: Pinal County Public Works, 520-866-6419.

Road Closures Hotline: 520-866-6078

The division of road maintenance between the Town and Pinal County is still being confirmed. If you are inside town limits and unsure, call the Town first.

Bulk item and hazardous waste disposal

Landfills and transfer stations are private facilities. The nearest facility to the San Tan Valley area is the Republic Services transfer station on Hunt Highway in Florence, 602-237-2074.

Household hazardous waste goes to Arcwood Environmental in Coolidge: 284 E Storey Road, 520-723-4167 ext. 0 (household drop-off Fridays 8am-12pm, $1.00/lb).
