Pinal County Board of Supervisors
The county board and the districts that cover us.
Pinal County Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors is the governing body of Pinal County. For residents of the unincorporated San Tan Valley area, the Board is your local government. For residents inside the Town of San Tan Valley, the Board still oversees many services that affect you: the Sheriff's Office, animal control, code enforcement, elections, the library district, public health, and county roads. Who's on the Board
Pinal County is divided into five supervisor districts, each with one elected supervisor.
| District | Supervisor |
| District 1 | Rich Vitiello |
| District 2 | Mike Goodman |
| District 3 | Stephen Q. Miller |
| District 4 | Jeffrey McClure (Chairman) |
| District 5 | Jeff Serdy (Vice-Chairman) |
Finding your district
The San Tan Valley area is large, and it is split across more than one supervisor district. Districts 2 (Mike Goodman) and 4 (Jeffrey McClure) both cover parts of the San Tan Valley area, as does Rich Vitiello District 1 in the San Tan Foothills.
Because district lines do not follow the town boundary, ZIP codes, or neighborhood names, the only way to confirm your district is to check your address. Look up your address using the county's Supervisor Districts Viewer on pinal.gov to find your supervisor.
Your supervisor is the appropriate contact for county-level concerns affecting your neighborhood.
Meetings
The Board meets at 9:30am on selected Wednesdays.

What the Board decides
The following areas fall under county authority and are appropriate matters to raise with your supervisor:
- The Sheriff's Office budget and operations (PCSO serves the entire San Tan Valley area)
- Animal control and dog licensing for the whole area
- Code enforcement, including inside town limits under the agreement with the Town
- County roads and public works
- Elections, for every voter in the county — how to register and vote.
- Property tax rates for county purposes
- Public health services
- County ordinances, including the noise, animal, and alarm rules that apply in unincorporated areas
Town government
If you live inside the Town of San Tan Valley, you also have a Town Council, which meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month.
