Originally scheduled to re-open mid-July, the Town of Queen Creek extended the re-opening of Rittenhouse Road to August 21st. Today, August 20, the town has delayed the re-opening again, this time until Sept. 11.
While the roadway portion of the work is complete, the work at the railroad crossing is anticipated to take an additional three weeks due to unexpected delays. Work at the railroad crossing can only be completed by Union Pacific Railroad and must be completed before the roadway can reopen.
