Registration Now Open for Winter Programs

Paladin Sports Outreach is a 501(c)3, Arizona nonprofit corporation, established to bring sports and recreation services to under-served communities in the San Tan area and beyond. We believe that sports are an incredible vehicle for bringing communities together and for teaching children important life lessons on responsibility, teamwork, and fun! Registration is now open for our Winter Sports programming. Registration ends Friday, January 11.

The Lil’ Pals Indoor Sports Academy is a 4-week instructional sports academy for 3-6 year olds. Our volunteer instructors will teach your child the fundamentals and basics of a variety of sports. Your child will have a great time learning how to play basketball and broom hockey while meeting new friends in your community!

San Tan Youth Football League is par­ticipating in the nationwide campaign, the NALA’s Shop Local for a Cause June 13-15. The STYFL is at 20364 E. Appaloosa Drive in Queen Creek.

The San Tan Youth Football League will host its official Opening Day event on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 6–9 p.m. at Desert Mountain Park, 22201 S. Hawes Road. Come out and enjoy an evening of family fun that will include carnival games, bounce houses, mechanical bull, petting zoo, photo booth, dunk tank, foam pit, rock wall, vendors, yummy food, PLUS the introduction of all the football players!

Paladin Sports Outreach to host the free competition for the second straight year Participation is FREE and open to boys and girls ages 7-14.Pitch, Hit & Run™ is the Official Skills Competition of Major League Baseball®. This grassroots program is designed to provide youngsters with an opportunity to compete, free of charge, in a competition that recognizes individual excellence in core baseball/softball skills.

  San Tan Foothills High School’s 3rd Annual Golf Tournament was a huge success and fun for all who participated.  Superstition Springs Golf Course in Mesa was filled on a recent Saturday with San Tan Foothills High supporters. A crowd of more than 50 golfers enjoyed an entertaining day with friends while enjoying delicious food, great prizes, fabulous awards, and great camaraderie.

Camp Sabercats started this week with 25 young Sabercats from 1st grade through 8th grade.  Coach Toby Wright has the kids learning the first step to being a explosive athlete. For some the best part of camp was the Free lunch all campers receive each day.

Congratulations to the San Tan Foothills High School Cheerleaders who qualified for State and took 3rd place at the Agua Fria State Qualifier in Surprise.   The athletes will go on to compete at the Spectacular Cheer and Dance competition in December, the Pima Invite in January and then off to State on February 5th in Presco.

  San Tan Foothills Football Program adds Ron Pritchard to staff, he will serve as Defensive Coordinator Linebackers and running backs coach.  Pritchard played nine seasons with the Houston Oilers and the Cincinnati Bengals,  attend Arizona State University,  where he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.

D.J. Foster ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns, and No. 13 Arizona State dismantled rival Arizona 58-21 Saturday night to earn home-field advantage in next week's Pac-12 championship game.

The Sun Devils still have the PAC-12 South crown and as the saying goes, there's always next year.

All three San Tan Valley high schools fought hard at their football games last night, Sept 20th.  

Already outplayed by Sam Stosur in the U.S. Open final, the last thing Serena Williams needed was to lose a game for yelling during a point....
