It’s been a rough season from a win-loss standpoint for San Tan Foothills volleyball.And yet coach Teresa Suan is seeing improvement and matches where the Sabercats actually have a chance to win, unlike last year when the team was in very few of its matches.
Poston Butte High School: Cheer and Pom went to State in Prescott. Pom took 6th place. Co-Ed cheer took 5th place and Partner cheer took 1st place (won state).
If you have not yet heard, the Poston Butte Boys Basketball team has earned a home seed in the first round of the Division II State Championship playoffs! They will take on PRESCOTT at 7pm this Thursday, Feb. 14th. Poston Butte Activity passes do not qualify at an official AIA event such as this game, and admission prices are slightly higher than our regular season prices.
The Poston Butte Youth Football Association (PBYFA) is proudly sending the Mighty Mite Division to the 2013 American Youth Football National Championships in Kissimmee, FL. in December 2013. It has been a great season for the Mitey Mite team ending at 7 - 1. The offense and defense are surrounded with impressive talent beyond their years. With the way these boys are playing, it is likely they will also take the State Championship in Tucson next month. 
Our kids shouldn't be the only ones having fun, right?!? Join us for men's flag football right here in the Queen Creek / San Tan Valley area. Paladin Sports Outreach will be running a men's 8-player flag football league this spring. We will begin with a recreational division (light-hearted competition) only and we anticipate adding a competitive division (geared toward the more advanced player) this Fall!
Ever wonder what it would be like to hit a shot on the famed par-3, 16th hole at the TPC Scottsdale during the Waste Management Phoenix Open? One lucky WM Phoenix Open fan and one lucky Phoenix Suns fan will get a chance along with a number of war heroes, celebrities and sponsors during the Phoenix Suns Charities Shot at Glory presented by Snell & Wilmer LLP on Wednesday, February 1st.  This unique closest-to-the-pin contest is a friendly competition featuring roughly 25 participants and will take place following the completion of the FBR/Xerox Silver Pro-Am at approximately 3:30 pm. The event is open to spectators – in fact Waste Management Phoenix Open fans are encouraged to stick around and cheer-on the participants.
The Lil' Pals T-ball Academy is a 6-week introductory sports program for 3-6 year olds. Our volunteer coaches will help your child learn the basics of the sport and your child will have a great time playing t-ball and meeting new friends in your community! Registration is just $30 per child and includes a program t-shirt, soccer ball, team photo & a trophy.
  The Lil’ Pals Soccer Academy is a 6-week introductory and instructional sports academy for 3-7 year olds. Our volunteer coaches will teach your child the fundamentals and basics of the sport. Your child will have a great time learning how to play soccer and meeting new friends in your community!   Registration for the Spring 2012 Academy will run through Monday, March 5.
