Florence High School Selects New Head Football Coach

Florence High School and the Florence Unified School District are very excited to announce that Mr. Bill McKane has accepted, pending Governing Board approval, the position of head football coach at Florence High School.   Mr. McKane began serving as the Interim Head Coach when former Head Coach Steve McKane unexpectedly passed away on October 8th. We believe that Coach McKane’s extensive head coaching experience, combined with his ability to lead, motivate and inspire our young men, make him the best choice to lead our football program into the future.

Sheila Anderson signed her National Letter of Intent to play volleyball at Central AZ College today! Sheila is the 3A South Player of the Year and selected to the 1-3A South All Star and All State Team. Sheila is a standout athlete at FHS and we are excited to see her earn the opportunity to continue her volleyball career while receiving her education at Central. We are so happy she will remain close to home for the next two years on a full ride athletic scholarship so we can continue to watch her play.
