Traffic Alerts Map Feb. 23 - March 1

Traffic Signals: Rittenhouse Road/Village Loop South

Work to construct a new traffic signal at this intersection began on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Construction is anticipated to last for approximately 60 days.

Traffic Restrictions:

Rittenhouse and Combs roads

Crews will be working along the west side of Rittenhouse Road, north of Combs Road, installing new utility lines for Century Link Communications. This work will close the west shoulder. No other traffic restrictions are anticipated.

Rittenhouse Road/Village Loop Road South

Crews will be installing a new traffic signal at this intersection, which will require some intermittent travel lane and shoulder restrictions until approximately March 15, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The Town's Streets Department will be performing crack seal operations in the following subdivisions the week of Feb. 21 through Mar. 2:

  • The Groves
  • The Villages
  • Queen Creek Ranchettes
  • San Marquis Estates
Note:  dates are approximate and those streets that are affected will be posted with temporary traffic control signs. Drivers are advised to obey all posted signs in the  area where crews may be working.

The City of Mesa will be working in the area of Ellsworth and Ray roads; as well as Power Road between Pecos and Ray roads. More information on these and other restrictions in the City of Mesa can be found at http://www.mesaaz.gov/roads/LaneRestrictions.aspx.
