REMINDER: Rittenhouse Road Closed May 4 – July 10

ROADclosure

The Town of Queen Creek is widening Rittenhouse Road to two lanes in each direction from 213th Street to Riggs Road. To widen the bridge over the Queen Creek Wash, Rittenhouse Road will be closed from May 4 through July 10 from Creekside Drive to Cloud Road.

The full closure will increase construction productivity, increase safety for workers and motorists, and minimize traffic interruptions.

Rittenhouse Road will reopen on July 10 with the full project anticipated to be complete in early 2021. The Rittenhouse improvement project includes two lanes in each direction, right turn lanes at intersections, bike lanes, intersection upgrades – including realigning the Cloud Road intersection, utility upgrades and widening over the spur crossing north of Riggs Road.

As roadway improvements continue, please slow down, allow extra time for travel and be courteous of motorists and work crews.
