Kenworthy and Ocotillo Flood Mitigation Work to Begin July 14

The project will include new channel improvements and culverts along the east side of Kenworthy Road between Ocotillo Road and 500 feet south of Lusitano Loop. The culverts intersection of Rattlesnake Road and Ocotillo Road will be upgraded as well.

Temporary road closures will occur at Rattlesnake Road and Lusitano Loop at key stages of construction while crews work to install the new culverts. Kenworthy Road and Ocotillo Road will remain open for the duration of project.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution while paying close attention to warning signs and the instructions of workers in the area. Construction is scheduled to last until the end of this summer.
