performingarts-center

One year ago this month, construction finished on the Combs Performing Arts Center in San Tan Valley. The Combs Performing Arts Center was designed to be a center for not only performing arts for the J. O. Combs Unified School District, but a place for arts and entertainment for the whole San Tan Valley community! Offering a wide variety of events for all ages, they invite everyone to come celebrate this milestone with them by attending one or more of their great events!

Featured Artist: Joe Bourne Nat King Cole Tribute Artist

Joe Bourne will perform the Combs Performing Arts Center January 31 at 7:30 pm. This performance will be "unforgettable in every way". Close your eyes soak in the sound and for just a moment, you'll think Nat King Cole himself has stepped to the microphone. Showman Joe Bourne has been winning over fans for years with his smooth and soft baritone perfectly emulating the legendary Nat King King Cole. Paying ultimate homage to the "King," Mr. Bourne and his very talented musicians will perform a concert filled with Cole favorites like "Straighten Up and Fly Right," "Nature Boy", "Mona Lisa", "Walking My Baby Back Home and many more.
This show will have Scott Black on bass, Sly Slipetsky on piano and Matt Mitchell on guitar.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, music became a part of Joe's life at an early age. He began his singing career in a church choir and with various street corner singing groups. Greatly inspired by such greats as Nat King Cole and Lou Rawls, Joe's own singing style is rapidly becoming known to audiences around the globe. Joe's career grew in the USA from lead singer for a Top 40 rhythm and blues / jazz band, to the international status that he now enjoys, recording and releasing LPs and subsequently having hit singles from these LPs.
