Wi-Fi Hotspots Now Available for Checkout

stv-hotspot
Like using the library's free wi-fi? Now you can take it home with you! Thanks to a pair of federal grants, several libraries across the county are beginning to offer data-enabled T-Mobile wi-fi hotspots for checkout.

The San Tan Valley library has hotspots ready for you to take home!

The hotspots can accommodate roughly a dozen devices simultaneously, so a one-per-household policy applies. Each hotspot comes with an unlimited data plan and checks out just like books and other library material, for 14 days.

Because the electronics are susceptible to heat, hotspots cannot be transferred between libraries; they must be checked out from and returned to the location that owns them. We also ask that you return the hotspots to the desk inside the library, rather than using the book drop.

Stop by our San Tan Valley library and check out a hotspot this summer!
