The Ironwood District Looking for Tenants

fortis-ironwood
After first meeting with Pinal County to discuss a site plan pre-application for a potential project in June 2018, it appears that the Fortis Development is moving forward.

The $80 million dollar project includes multi-family rental apartments, a national brand, limited service, flagship hotel, a senior living residential complex that includes comprehensive independent, assisted, transitional and memory care residences and other related uses, up to 300,000 square feet of entertainment, dining, fitness and other retail uses with 50 acres of engineered, platted single-family residential lots all thoughtfully designed with lakes and 15 acres of open space.

NAIHorizon updated the listing both of sale and for lease units in September 2019 and is currently working to find businesses to either purchase, ground lease or build-to-suit the units planned for development. The development, called The Ironwood District, is slated for a groundbreaking in June 2020 and will be built where the current Links at Queen Creek golf course is currently located off of Ironwood/Gantzel, south of Ocotillo Road in San Tan Valley.

Promising to "capture the charm and flavor of rural Arizona while providing services and experiences specific to the local lifestyle needs of today. The Ironwood District is a destination space, a beautiful setting reflecting the rural Arizona roots of the surrounding area while offering modern amenities and services. Residents of all ages and lifestyles will enjoy a thriving community in which to live and enjoy dining, entertainment, and shopping in a beautiful, park-like setting."

The expansive 105 acre development features residential amenities for every life phase, in addition to shopping and entertainment. The Ironwood District will embody the "live, work, and play" lifestyle concept prized by buyers in today's real estate market. The attractively designed community features 50 acres of single-family residential lots that will be offered for sale, 8-10 acres of multi-family rental apartments, and the all-inclusive senior living complex.

The local architecture firm working on the project is SRA 360, who has designed "striking, modern elevations for the retail center" according to a release.

Anyone interested in being a part of this development is asked to contact Chris Gerow with NAI Horizon at 602.852.3413.
