Severtson Screens Relocates Headquarters to San Tan Valley

street-sign-1
A project that began the site planning phase in January of 2017 with hopes of opening summber of 2017, was finally able to open their doors Dec 2019.

Severtson Screens spent the last two years working with Pinal County to open their new corporate headquarters in San Tan Valley. Originally headquartered in Mesa, Arizona in Maricopa County, Severtson Screens has now relocated to a larger nearby facility in San Tan Valley, Arizona in Pinal County.

"It was time," explained Toby Severtson, president and CEO of Severtson Corp. "With our continued growth, we were busting at the seams at our three Mesa (Ariz.) facilities and we needed to find a location where we could expand our headquarters and manufacturing capabilities. Our new San Tan Valley campus has allowed us to grow our footprints for greater production and efficiency by allowing us to design and build a multi-facility campus that fulfills all of our office, manufacturing, and warehousing needs."

Severtson headquarters is now located at 41502 N. Schnepf Rd., San Tan Valley, AZ 85140 and employees 21 people at their facility.

"We could not have asked for a better location," added Dan Maxwell, Severtson Corp. Vice President & COO. "Not only does the new facility fulfill our needs, it also benefits our suppliers as they now have one primary location to go to and from for us, instead of multiple locations. It is a time and money saver for everyone."

Founded in 1986, Severtson Corporation continues to be a global leader in innovation and quality. The Severtson family's extensive experience in manufacturing small home theater screens and large cinema screens has given Severtson Corporation the expertise to meet the needs of the professional and consumer AV markets for both indoor applications as well as large outdoor venues. With its Arizona-based production facilities and its state-of-the-art robotic application system, Severtson has massive production capabilities and an unusually wide array of screens. The screens range in size from massive movie theaters, comfortable home theaters, and everything in between.

"Severtson Screens has been around for more than three decades, and we are continuing to grow across multiple markets," concluded Kirk Severtson, Severtson Corp. Vice President and CTO. "This move is by no means a short term fix. With our new multi-facility campus, we also have additional land to expand our operations if we should need to in the near or distant future."

Pinal County is one of the fastest growing counties in the United States with a population of almost 500,000 residents. With a central location in Arizona between Phoenix and Tucson, Pinal County is well positioned for future growth.

Since 2013, companies with a capital investment of nearly five-billion dollars have either relocated or expanded businesses in Pinal County resulting in nearly 8,000 new full-time jobs.

"The decision by Severtson to relocate its operations to Pinal County is yet another example of the robust growth we continue to experience," said County Manager Lou Andersen. "We continue to attract companies that are seeking expansion opportunities in a business-friendly location such as Pinal County."

Some of Severtson's most recent projects include:

  • The new temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Gilbert, Arizona.
  • Fat Cats, a family-oriented entertainment company located in Gilbert, Arizona.
  • The new Harkins Theater in Queen Creek, Arizona.
  • The new Justice League dark ride at Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Texas.
