In an unprecedented move, an admissions director from the prestigious New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts, who was in attendance that evening, awarded a whopping $63,000 in cast scholarships to the performers. The grant was presented so that these budding actors could further hone their skills by attending the Conservatory's Summer Intensive and Degree programs.
