Free Meals for Children and Teens This Summer in San Tan Valley

As the school year comes to a close, it's time for children and teenagers to enjoy their summer vacation. For many families, this means looking for ways to ensure their kids have access to healthy, nutritious meals during the break. In an effort to support the community, two San Tan Valley schools are stepping up to provide free meals for children and teens aged 18 and younger. With no application required, families can easily take advantage of this beneficial program.

Poston Butte High School, located at 32375 N Gantzel Road, will be offering free breakfast and lunch from May 30th to June 22nd, 2023. The school will be open Monday through Thursday, but closed on June 19th. 

• Breakfast will be served from 7:15am to 7:45am
• Lunch will be available from 11:10am to 11:40am

Skyline Ranch Elementary School, situated at 1084 W San Tan Hills Drive, will also provide free meals to children and teens. The program will run from May 30th to July 14th, with the school being open Monday through Friday, except for July 4th. 

• Breakfast will be offered from 7:30am to 8:30am
• Lunch from 11:00am to 12:00pm
• Snack from 3:00pm to 4:00pm

This initiative not only ensures that children and teenagers have access to nutritious meals during the summer break, but also provides a safe and welcoming environment where they can spend time with friends. Parents can rest assured knowing their kids are enjoying healthy meals without the need for an application.
