Family volunteers their time to assist Champion School with a much-needed repair

Recently, the residents of San Tan Valley have shown their generosity and community spirit in a big way. A local family, the Castillo's, stepped up to help Champion Schools in a time of need. The father and son duo, Mr. Gilbert Castillo II and Nathan an 8th grader at Champion Schools, took time out of their busy schedules to assess and repair two of the school's fences.

Their expertise in welding was put to good use as they reattached the Kindergarten gate and fixed one of the service gates. The school is grateful for their help and the positive impact they've had on the campus. The Castillo family is well known in the area for their skills and generosity, with Gilbert's Auto Service in Mesa, AZ being a testament to their talents.

It's inspiring to see families like the Castillo's giving back to their community and setting an example for others to follow. The school and the residents of San Tan Valley are proud to have individuals like them who are committed to making a difference. Their selfless act of kindness is a reminder of the power of community and the importance of volunteering.

The Castillo family's generosity and hard work are a shining example of the spirit of San Tan Valley. The residents have shown that they are ready to come together and help each other, and this is a testament to the strong community bonds that exist in the area. Champion Schools would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Castillo's for their time and efforts, and for helping to make the school a better place for the students and staff.
