The Combs High School Class of 2024 commenced their final year with an inspiring and emotive Senior Sunrise event. Over 100 senior students congregated on the football stadium in the early hours of Friday, August 4th, marking the dawn of their concluding high school year.
With the rising sun symbolizing fresh beginnings, the Class of 2024 assembled to foster camaraderie, make lasting memories, and reinforce their collective bond ahead of an exciting and promising final academic year. The event, exclusively for seniors, proved to be a resounding success.
To keep the early risers fueled, the Student Council provided donuts and juice for the seniors in attendance. The students utilized this time to socialize, take memorable photographs, and indulge in light-hearted discussions.
Senior Class President Savannah Apostol, who orchestrated the event, expressed immense satisfaction with its outcome. She applauded her peers for their assistance and dedication in making the sunrise gathering a triumph.
"It was an awesome Senior Sunrise event," said Apostol. "The Class Officers of 2024 did an incredible job organizing! It was a terrific start to their senior year. I anticipate that it's going to be a great year!"
Student Body President, Charlotte O'Brien, shared the excitement and positive sentiment surrounding the event. Echoing the symbolic importance of the sunrise, she enthusiastically stated, "It represents new beginnings. This is the year we've been waiting for. I really could not be more excited."
