Key Points from the Special Session Meeting held on November 9, 2022
County Manager Leo Lew briefed the Board on Election Day, which ran smoothly across the County. At the time of the meeting, 116,466 votes had been tabulated and reported, with 26,576 remaining to be processed and tabulated. County Attorney Kent Volkmer predicted a 51% turnout, which would be a record for a non-presidential election in the County. (Item 1)
The Board approved revisions to Pinal County Policy 4.28, Compensation Plan Maintenance, to update comparators and compensation strategies in order to enhance external competitiveness, promote internal equity, reflect the values of the County and align compensation with the County's strategic goals and priorities. (Item 2)
The Board heard a Presentation for the Red Rock Small Area Transportation Study. (Item 3)
