Maxine Brown, Candidate for District 5 Supervisor, Files Nominating Petitions

Pinal County Elections Technician Becky Canalez and Maxine Brown

"I am excited to have Maxine as a candidate for Pinal County Supervisor. She is a team player and will work hard to represent what is best for her constituents. Best Wishes, Maxine." These congratulatory words were sent by Shirley Dawson, Vice Chair, Gila County Board of Supervisors upon learning that Maxine had submitted her petitions to Pinal County for the office.

Brown retired last year from Central Arizona Association of Governments (CAAG) after serving 18 years as Executive Director of the organization that provides regional planning for Pinal and Gila counties. She was the first woman municipal manager in Arizona serving in the position for 7 years and was a small business owner for 12 years. Brown volunteers on the Pinal County Town Hall Advisory Committee and the City of Apache Junction Paws and Claws Care Center and is a member of several organizations in Gold Canyon.
