Queen Creek - you have lost that rural feeling

Queen Creek’s town council of the latter years has deviated away of the founding fathers’ intentions. I see within the town now a city of clustered homes, big box stores, lack of rural preservation, lack of trail development and definitely little to no small town feel. The town’s borders did nothing to stave off the surrounding development from the other towns. The town’s borders are indistinct. You cannot tell where Mesa, Gilbert or Chandler end and Queen Creek begins.

I moved here for what Queen Creek promised to preserve and keep from what the founding fathers incorporated to prevent. I have seen the posters signs of the sheep covered wolves around town. I would have to agree, the wolves have truly moved into the town council and town government. Changing the town’s vision, changing the small town feel. Changing away from the Founder’s original vision. Queen Creek is no different than any of the other suburban towns in the valley. It has become the rule of over development instead of an exceptional way of life. My voice is small. But if there are voices like mine, please contact the town government and voice your concerns. Queen Creek has lost that rural feeling.
