Development offsite utility work will take place on Hunt Highway, north of Thompson Rd. December 21st through December 22nd.
Westbound US 60 will be narrowed to one lane at Queen Valley Road (milepost 214), near the State Route 79 junction in Pinal County, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, for maintenance work.
The annual Queen Creek Holiday Festival and Parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3 from noon-7 p.m. The festivities will take on Ellsworth Road and at the Queen Creek Library, 21802 S. Ellsworth Rd. Temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be in place before and during the parade.
The Ocotillo Road and Ellsworth Road intersection will be closed from Monday, Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. until Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 5 a.m. to minimize traffic disruptions and the impact on local businesses.
Development offsite road work will take place on Bella Vista Road west of Gantzel Road from November 16th through November 18th.
**UPDATE** Expect delays as the Hunt Highway widening project continues. There will be asphalt paving the week of November 8th – 18th.
State Route 79 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions at the Gila River Bridge between mileposts 135-6 in Florence, from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 22, for bridge repair work. Traffic will be alternated to the open lane, guided by crews and traffic devices.

Motorists traveling on State Route 79 north of Florence may encounter travel restrictions on the morning of Monday (Aug. 15) while the Arizona Department of Transportation repairs potholes in the roadway.
Pinal County's Kenworthy & Ocotillo Flood Mitigation project is scheduled to begin construction on Thursday, July 14.
Next week, in the Town of Queen Creek, Ocotillo Road will have a temporary bypass lane from 214th to Scotland Court to allow traffic to pass during construction.
The Town of Queen Creek is working in partnership with the Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) to complete Riggs Road from Ellsworth Road to Meridian Road. The new, two-lane roadway will serve as a major access point for the south east portion of Town, and will help improve transportation throughout Queen Creek.
To efficiently reconstruct the entire intersection and add new signal equipment we will be closing the intersection to all traffic (except emergency services) to allow the Contractor to rapidly perform the necessary improvements.
State Route 79, in Florence will have the following restrictions for maintenance and roadway improvement work beginning Wednesday (May 11).
Road construction project will require a temporary closure on Gantzel Road from Bella Vista Road to Omega Drive on Tuesday, May 3rd from approximately 6 am to 6 pm. Completion of final top lift of the asphalt course is needed. Please be mindful of all traffic signage and work zones.
Public Works will be utilizing a weed control company to help control weeds along Ironwood Road between Elliot Road alignment and Bella Vista Road.
Work will take place on Hunt Highway from Thistle Trail to Arizona Farms Road starting Saturday, April 16th.
At 1:28 am, a caller reported to the 911 Comm. Center that a vehicle had just crashed through a concrete barricade at Skyline Rd and Charbray Dr, and the car was on fire.
Be aware, survey work being done on Ironwood Road starting on April 27th and lasting for a duration of 5 working days.
