Work begins this week on a project to renovate the junction of State Route 79 and SR 79B south of Florence, providing a safer intersection for travelers in central Pinal County.
There is ongoing repair work on the Attaway Bridge approach slabs to provide a safer and smoother ride for vehicular traffic on Attaway Road south of Hunt Highway.
Repairs to the Attaway Road Bridge over the Gila River will begin on Monday, July 10. The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the approach slabs on either end of the bridge, resulting in a safer and smoother ride for vehicular traffic.
Road work continues on Ironwood Drive as safety improvements are being constructed on this major arterial. The construction zone is Germann Road on the south to Eliot Road to the north.
