Registration begins Tuesday, May 28 for the Summer Reading Program.  Families and their caregivers are strongly encouraged to come into the Florence Community Library and register their children and teens.  This year’s themes are “Dig Into Reading” for children and early literacy and “Beneath the Surface” for teens.  The library will offer Reading Club along with weekly activities, a raffle, treasure hunt, snacks, and fun incentives!

The Town of Queen Creek and Cornerstone Church are offering a free evening of zombie fun for 7th through 12th graders on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 5-8 p.m. at the Recreation Annex located at 21802 S. Ellsworth Rd. Actors and directors are needed to help make gruesome, ghastly or drop-dead funny zombie films.
