Epcor applying for AZPDES permit to allow for additional discharge to meet capacity

Epcor, the interim manager for Johnson Utilities is applying for an AZPDES permit to allow A+ effluent to be discharged into the Queen Creek wash. After the rain last week, the current effluent users are not able to take any more water and the basins are full. 

ADEQ Corrects Misinformation Re: Recycled Water Discharge

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) issued a Water Quality Advisory on January 11, 2019 for the unpermitted discharge of recycled water from Johnson Utilities’ Pecan Water Reclamation Plant into Queen Creek in the San Tan Valley area. There is no impact to Johnson Utilities’ drinking water systems and there has NOT been a release of untreated sewage into the environment.

Toys for Tots Toy Drive

Choice Chiropractic will be holding a Holiday Toy Drive again this year, in exchange for Chiropractic services. All of the toys received will be donated to the Marine Corp Toys for Tots campaign.

New Dance Studio to Open in San Tan Valley

San Tan Valley resident, Lori Johnson has been teaching dance as long as she can remember, starting at the early age of 14. For the past several years, she has held classes from her San Tan Valley Home.
