Pinal County Public Works announced that traffic signals will be coming to three intersections in San Tan Valley, beginning this summer.
The Arizona Department of Transportation is reducing the speed limit from 50 mph to 45 mph on five miles of old US 60 in the East Valley, between Sossaman and Meridian roads.

State Route 79, in the Town of Florence (mileposts 134-138) will have restrictions in both directions beginning Monday (Jan. 18) through Friday (Jan. 22) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow crews to make improvements to the roadway.
Pinal County Public Works is alerting drivers along Hunt Highway that several Public Utilities will be working on relocations required for the upcoming widening project between Stone Creek Drive and Bella Vista Road.
The westbound I-10 to westbound I-8 ramp in Pinal County will be closed around the clock beginning early Monday morning (Jan. 4) through late February. Drivers wishing to access westbound I-8 will be detoured to Jimmie Kerr Boulevard to eastbound I-10 to westbound I-8.

Summary of Traffic Restrictions Updated Dec 15th:
Combs Road & Meridian Road – A westbound shoulder closure will be in place on Combs Road for roadway and utility improvements. This restriction will be in place for 24 hours a day from Dec. 16 to Jan. 30.
A northbound double lane closure will be in place on Ellsworth Road for water and sewer line tie-ins for a new development between Empire Boulevard to San Tan Boulevard, starting Wed Dec 16th.
Public Works will be installing portable traffic signals Tuesday, December 8th at Hunt Hwy and Attaway Road.
To better accommodate traffic flow in the area, the schedule for paving work along US 60 through Gold Canyon has changed, with paving now set for 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 3) and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday next week (Dec. 7-9).
