Starbucks Opens Second Standalone Store in San Tan Valley

A second standalone Starbucks store has officially opened in San Tan Valley. Located on the northeast corner of Ironwood and Ocotillo, in San Tan Valley, Starbucks opened its doors at 4:00 am, with a line outside of customers that started forming at 3:30 am.
On Friday, February 8, 2019 at 4:26 a.m., the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office was called out to a car accident involving a pedestrian at Gary Road and Charbray Drive in San Tan Valley.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Gila River Police Department on Wednesday, February 6th, just after 6 pm for 12-year-old Kevin Valenzuela who was admitted to the hospital for a possible gunshot wound to the leg. The child was at Gila River Health Care and getting transported to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
A Freeze Warning has been issued for San Tan Valley and the surrounding areas in northern Pinal County, including Casa Grande, Florence, Coolidge, Apache Junction and Gold Canyon.

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) issued a Water Quality Advisory on January 11, 2019 for the unpermitted discharge of recycled water from Johnson Utilities’ Pecan Water Reclamation Plant into Queen Creek in the San Tan Valley area. There is no impact to Johnson Utilities’ drinking water systems and there has NOT been a release of untreated sewage into the environment.
Choice Chiropractic will be holding a Holiday Toy Drive again this year, in exchange for Chiropractic services. All of the toys received will be donated to the Marine Corp Toys for Tots campaign.
San Tan Valley resident, Lori Johnson has been teaching dance as long as she can remember, starting at the early age of 14. For the past several years, she has held classes from her San Tan Valley Home.
