The following streets will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 3 for the Holiday Parade and Festival:

Ocotillo Road east of Signal Butte Road Crews will be closing the westbound lane to complete landscaping work in the median in this area. This lane closure is expected to last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30.

1.    Ellsworth and Aldecoa roads Traffic will be shifted east while crews complete utility work in the southbound travel lane of Ellsworth Road. The work is expected to be completed by Thursday, November 3.

1.    Rittenhouse Road north of Combs Road 2.    Ellsworth and Aldecoa roads 3.    Hawes and Chandler Heights roads

Traffic Alerts Map Sept. 22-29 1.    Combs and Meridian roadsFlaggers will be present controlling traffic on Combs Road and Meridian Road for a truck haul.

Traffic Alerts Map Sept. 15-22 Combs and Meridian roads A flagger will be present controlling westbound traffic between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to allow trucks involved in a truck haul to make left-turns onto Meridian Road from Combs Road. Drivers are advised to use extra caution in the area due to increased truck activity during these times.

Traffic Alerts Map Aug. 25-Sept. 1 1.    Rittenhouse Road at Canyon State AcademyCrews will be working on the north and south shoulder of Rittenhouse Road at the driveway for Canyon State Academy. No traffic restrictions are anticipated at this time.

This weeks traffic alerts for the week of June 9-16 provided by the Town of Queen Creek. 1.    Ocotillo Road: Signal Butte to Meridian roadsCrews will be working on the shoulder of Ocotillo Road in this segment, which will necessitate the closure of only the shoulder.

1.    Ocotillo Road: Power to Sossaman roads Ocotillo Road remains closed in this area while crews from Southwest Gas install a new high pressure gas line. The closure is anticipated to last through June 10. Access for local traffic will be maintained from Power Road to 186th Place. Local and thru traffic will not be permitted east of 186th Place.

A seven vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 10 at the U.S. 60 is creating massive backups on I-10 as well as U.S. 60. The crash, which happened around 6am this morning left several people injured but none of the injuries are life threatening.

Two events will close Ellsworth Road in Town Center this weekend. On Friday, Dec. 3, beginning at noon, Ellsworth Road between Ocotillo and Rittenhouse roads will be closed for the Hometown Christmas event at the Queen Creek Library. Local traffic will be able to use Ellsworth Road south of Rittenhouse Road as far south as Victoria Lane. Northbound traffic from Ocotillo Road will be allowed to access businesses in the area, but will not be able to access the library or event site. Traffic traveling to the event can enter the library parking lot from either Ocotillo Road or Ellsworth Loop Road or can park in the lot north of the library, entering from Victoria Lane between Ellsworth and Ellsworth Loop roads.
