Drivers in San Tan Valley should prepare for temporary disruptions as Pinal County schedules road work on portions of Judy's Road and Roberts Road in unincorporated San Tan Valley.

According to Pinal County Development Services, pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction will take place from May 11 through May 21. The project includes:

• Judy's Road between Skyline Drive and Felix Road
• Roberts Road between Judy's Road and Joel Road

Following the initial work, a chip seal application is scheduled from June 1 through June 4 to help preserve the roadway surface and extend its lifespan.

During construction, intermittent road closures are expected, and detours will be in place to guide traffic around active work zones. Drivers traveling in the area should plan for delays, reduce speed, and remain alert for crews and equipment.

The project is part of ongoing county efforts to maintain and improve road conditions in areas of San Tan Valley that fall outside the incorporated town boundaries.

Residents and commuters who regularly use these routes are encouraged to allow extra travel time during the construction period.
