Motorists in San Tan Valley should prepare for several road closures and delays as major pavement and repaving projects take place across the area through mid-June.

Pima Road Closure (May 28 – June 16)
Pima Road is closed between Coyote Road and Schnepf Road for ongoing construction. Drivers are advised to use Ocotillo Road and Ironwood Drive as the primary detour routes. Kenworthy Road and Germann Road are open to local traffic only.

Schnepf Road Closure (May 29 – June 16)
Schnepf Road will be fully closed between Germann and Ocotillo roads while milling and repaving work is completed. Detour signs are in place, and commuters are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

Bella Vista Road Pavement Work (June 2 – 13)
Pavement milling and overlay will take place on Bella Vista Road between Quail Run Lane and the UPRR railroad tracks. Final striping is scheduled for July 7.
During construction, lane restrictions and flagger operations with a pilot car will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Drivers should expect delays and use extra caution in the area. For more information contact Cactus Asphalt (623) 907-2800.
