Motorists will regain access to Johnson Ranch Boulevard from Hunt Highway on Friday, April 27th. However, continued construction needed along Hunt Highway will begin shortly afterwards on April 30th.
Scheduled to begin late Friday, April 27 at 11:00 PM through Sunday, April 29, Hunt Highway will have lane restrictions between Stone Creek Dr and Chestnut Trail for asphalt pavement restoration due to previous utility work. The construction is scheduled to be completed by Sunday night around 9:00 PM. Work will only consist of the southbound outside lane.
Scheduled to begin Monday, April 30, through Friday, August 24, Hunt Highway will be CLOSED to traffic between Johnson Ranch Boulevard and Red Road (entry to Canyon Rock) for crews to begin work on Hunt Highway between Johnson Ranch Boulevard and Red Road. During this work, all Hunt Highway traffic will be routed onto the new Gantzel Road Extension as a detour around the work zone. Local access will be provided from the north for Rural Metro Fire, Johnson Utilities staff, and customers and staff of Allstate Self Storage. No through traffic will be permitted. Commuters will continue to have access to the Johnson Ranch Boulevard/Gantzel Rd intersection and utilize the Gantzel Road extension to Bella Vista Road as a detour.
Please drive with caution through all work zone areas. Pinal County Public Works greatly appreciates your patience as we continue to move forward with the Hunt Highway improvements.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
