Vanished Arizona...In the Footsteps of Martha Summerhayes
Join author Wayne Ranney as he traces the odyssey of a New England army wife of 1870's Arizona as she follows her husband across the wild and rugged Arizona Territory.
She wrote down her impressions and developing love for Arizona in what has become a classic of Southwest literature.
Ranney will also share his personal connection to this story on Sunday at the Pinal County Museum at 715 S. Main Street in Florence.
