Make Memorial Day Weekend Plans with Arizona State Parks

Looking for relaxing fishing or invigorating water activities? These parks have lots to enjoy, with RV and tent sites still available for reservation:

  • Alamo Lake State Park - Enjoy a weekend of fishing and relaxing along the lake.
  • Lyman Lake State Park - Bring the boat, water skis and camping gear for a cool lake retreat in northeast Arizona.
  • Roper Lake State Park - Take a dip in the hot springs to unwind or recharge your batteries with great fishing, bird watching and canoeing at the base of Mount Graham.

Or, you can explore some other amazing destinations that showcase the very best Arizona has to offer:

  • Homolovi State Park - Experience the culture of the Hopi Tribe and the area attractions from Winslow to the Navajo Nation.
  • Tonto Natural Bridge- Hike to a natural waterfall cave in beautiful, cool, high-desert surroundings.
  • Red Rock State Park - With more than five miles of trails, you can get your exercise with the stunning backdrop of Sedona's red rocks.
  • Kartchner Caverns State Park - There's still time to reserve a cave tour at the park voted "Best Cave in the USA." There are also campgrounds, trails and a hummingbird garden at the park.

Reserve a camping spot at or call 877-MY-PARKS, or just head over to one of the parks for the day (cave tour reservations are highly recommended).
