Harry Potter Book Night is Feb. 4 at the Apache Junction Library

The British publisher of the popular series began the night to celebrate the books in 2015 and thousands of schools, libraries and book stores took part.

The Apache Junction Public Library, 1177 N. Idaho Road, will play host to an unforgettable “Night of Spells” from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 4.

On Harry Potter Book Night: A Night of Spells, the library will be sharing the wonder of J.K. Rowling’s unforgettable stories and introducing the next generation of readers to the unparalleled magic of Harry Potter.

Young wizards, witches and muggles will be treated to an evening of games, activities, butter beer and crafts. The library will dress up the castle for this magical event. It all begins with the “Sorting Hat” deciding who will be in which house and a competition for house points will ensue throughout the evening’s challenges.
