The Local Jeweler Brings Sparkle to San Tan Valley with Grand Opening
San Tan Valley just got a little brighter with the grand opening of The Local Jeweler, the community's first-ever jewelry store. Owners Jennifer and Murat* celebrated their official ribbon-cutting on Saturday, January 25th, marking a milestone for both their business and the town.
A Much-Needed Addition to San Tan ValleyFor years, residents of San Tan Valley have had to drive 45 minutes or more just for jewelry repairs or to find that perfect piece of sparkle. Seeing this gap, Jennifer and Murat knew they could bring something special to the community.
"We've been in the jewelry business for 25 years, and when we moved to Copper Basin in 2023, we really wanted to be a part of this community and share our jewelry with everyone," they shared.
The ribbon-cutting and grand opening event was a moment of love, support, and celebration. Not only did the local community show up in full force, but friends from as far as Alaska made the trip to support Jennifer and Murat on their big day.
"Our experience was absolutely amazing! We felt the love and support of the community, and having our friends from Alaska here made it even more special."

Beyond offering stunning gemstones and custom designs, The Local Jeweler is filling an essential gap in San Tan Valley. Their services include:

Murat, a master jeweler with over 43 years of experience, and Jennifer, who has been in the industry for 15 years, previously catered to the cruise ship industry in Alaska. But the couple was ready for a change.
"We decided to come to San Tan Valley to slow down a little bit and really be a part of the community," they explained.
For Jennifer and Murat, The Local Jeweler is more than just a business—it's about creating lasting connections and being there for life's biggest moments.
"Our goal is to become a family household name. We would love to be a part of the big milestones in people's lives."
As they embark on this new journey, they leave the community with a simple but meaningful message:
