Leading Edge Academy San Tan Earns 3rd Place in State Track Meet

Besides the overall 3rd place finish, the team also earned the following state honors:

• State Champion – 4 x 100 meter relay
• State Champion – 4 x 400 meter relay
• 2nd Place – Shot Put
• 3rd Place – 1`00 meters

The Leading Edge Academy San Tan Junior High Girls Track Team includes one 5th grade student, several 6th and 7th graders, and two 8th grade students.

The State Track & Field Championships were organized by the Canyon Athletic Association. CAA is a not-for-profit corporation created to provide competitive athletic competition for non-traditional educational institutions, including charter schools, public schools, home school organizations and parochial schools, who wish to participate in interscholastic activities.

Leading Edge Academy staff and faculty are proud of the positive results achieved by Nick Towner and the girls who make up this strong team. Leading Edge Academy is a K-8 tuition-free charter school located in San Tan Valley, AZ.
