Salt River Project’s nearly 1 million residential power customers now have another way to stay connected with the new SRP Mobile App for smart phones and tablets. Whether at home or on the go, it is a friendlier and faster way to pay bills, manage accounts and get the latest information if outages occur.
SRP Mobile App for Power Customers:
- Daily cost and usage: Get a snapshot of energy costs and usage by the hour, day or month. To monitor savings, customers enrolled in SRP’s Time-of-Day Price Plans can see how much energy they have used during on-peak and off-peak hours. (Available for M-power customers as well)
- Payments: View balance and make payments quickly and securely, from anywhere. Save payment information and even schedule future payments. (Not available for M-Power customers.)
- Report and view outages: If an outage occurs, customers can quickly report it and get estimated restoration times. Customers can also see areas out of power using the interactive outage map along with the cause and number of customers affected. (Available for all customers)
“More and more customers are expressing their preference to manage their accounts with their mobile devices,” said Michael Mendonca, SRP senior director of customer service. “Improving the customer experience is critically important to us. This new mobile app offers an opportunity to do just that.”
To download the new SRP Mobile App for no charge, visit the App Store or Google Play and search using the keyword “SRP Power”. Customers can then follow the prompts to register or sign in to their SRP My Account via the app.
SRP provides power to the majority of residents and businesses in the San Tan Valley area and is the nation’s third-largest public power utility and the largest provider of electricity to the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, serving more than 1 million customers.
