Your FUSD Bond Dollars at Work
The first round of purchases included 3 school buses for their students with disabilities that will be used by the entire district. "These buses were a vital need for FUSD and are already on the road", said Knutsen. "We will purchase more as our bonds are sold and replacements are needed. We also purchased a wood chipper and gannon tractor. This equipment will save our district money by allowing us to do a lot of our maintenance work in-house rather than contracting out, saving FUSD in equipment rental fees that can exceed $500.00 per week."
