Simonton Elementary Receives $5000 Grant
With more than 2,400 teachers from across the state of Arizona applying in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl Wishes for Teachers program, Ms Dyament knew submitting her wish was a long shot, but a shot worth taking.
On Dec 12th, the wish submitted by Simonton Elementary School teacher, Ms Kate Dyament was selected to receive a grant for $5,000. Ms Dyament and her garden club had submitted the wish hoping to be able to remodel the school garden that provides healthy lunch options for the students and now they get to do just that!
Congratulations to Ms. Kate Dyament and the garden club at Simonton Elementary!
