It's no secret that the culinary students at Poston Butte High School in San Tan Valley are making waves in their community with their exceptional culinary skills and their willingness to give back. These young culinarians, under the guidance of Chef Accalia, are not only learning how to cook for themselves but are also finding ways to support their peers and make a positive impact in their community.

Recently, the students of Poston Butte High School's Chapter of FCCLA teamed up with King Arthur Baking Company to participate in the Bake for Good event. This event involved baking loaves of bread and gifting them back to the community. For almost a month, the students learned all about yeast and the various types of bread, and they were given the opportunity to express their creativity with Quick Breads, Biscuits, and Sourdoughs. This service project not only allowed the students to showcase their newfound knowledge but also allowed them to give back to their community.

The students' efforts are a testament to their hard work and dedication to their craft. Their willingness to learn and share their knowledge with their community is truly inspiring. The community of San Tan Valley is fortunate to have such a talented group of young individuals who are willing to give back and make a positive impact.

It's not just about cooking skills; these students are learning valuable life skills that will benefit them long after they leave high school. By working together as a team and giving back to their community, these students are developing a sense of belonging and responsibility that will serve them well in the future.

The culinary students at Poston Butte High School are truly an inspiration to us all. Their dedication to their craft, their willingness to learn, and their commitment to giving back to their community are all traits that will serve them well in their future endeavors. As we look to the future, it is reassuring to know that we have such a talented and dedicated group of young individuals who are committed to making the world a better place, one loaf of bread at a time.
