Legacy Traditional Schools Announces Principal of New San Tan Valley Campus

Legacy Traditional Schools, an award-winning network of public charter schools, is pleased to announce Joseph McKnight will serve as the inaugural principal of its new San Tan Valley campus. Families and staff will get their first opportunity to meet Principal McKnight at Back to School Night on July 21 before the first day of school on July 27.

Mr. McKnight brings close to two decades of experience in education to his role as principal, including more than 12 years in school administration. Mr. McKnight started his career as a high school teacher before serving as assistant principal, dean of students and principal for several schools in the Tucson and Phoenix area.

"I'm tremendously thankful for the opportunity to open this new campus," said McKnight. "San Tan Valley is a growing area and the immediate support we've had from the community is a testament to Legacy's long-standing reputation as leaders in education."
