Digital Photography

Do you want to use your digital camera more effectively?

Do you want to know how to use more of your camera’s features?

Are you baffled by shutter speeds and f-stops?

Master Photographer Brian Braye will help you get comfortable with using your digital camera or master the advanced features of your camera. You will learn the basics of composition, as well as white balance, exposure compensation, fill in flash, and filters. This course is for Point and Shoot cameras as well as Digital SLR owners. Bring your camera, instruction booklet and extra batteries if possible.  Open to adults 18 years and older.

Cost: $50 per person for three two hour sessions.

Times/Dates: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, Sept. 18th, Sept. 25th, Oct. 2nd

Location: Combs Middle School Computer Lab located in the Library

Registration information:  Register in person in the Combs Community Education Office, located at the Combs District

Office on the corner of Combs and Gantzel, prior to the first class

Zumba

Dance your stress and pounds away with the exercise craze ZUMBA! Certified ZUMBA instructor Kelly Senecal will keep you motivated for a whole hour with fast music and fun moves. Shake away the day!

Open to adults and students 14 years and older.

Cost: $5 per session or get a punch card for $28

Times/Dates: 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm every Monday and Wednesday

Location: Combs Traditional Academy Gymnasium

No registration required. Payment accepted at the door.

Yoga

Classically trained with over 10 years of teaching experience, Expert Yoga instructor Natasha Simplicio will lead you through an hour of poses designed to strengthen your mind and body. Whether you've never taken a yoga class before, or you're a seasoned yoga veteran, this yoga class is both accessible and challenging. Open to adults and students 15 years and older.

Cost: $74 per 10 week session

Times/Dates: 4:15pm – 5:15 pm  Tuesdays, 9/11 - 11/20 (No class 10/09)

Location: Ellsworth Elementary
