FUSD School Board Earns State-Wide Recognition

The Florence Unified School District School Board earned the Total Board Boardsmanship Award for the 6th time. This award is, “granted to a governing board when at least a quorum (3) of members have attained the level of a Certificate of Boardsmanship – that’s 36 hours of professional development.”

Individual awards went to Board Member Rose Marie Monks and Board Member Bob Dailey. Mrs. Monks was awarded her Fourth Cluster, which is awarded for, “Board Members with between 330 and 399 hours of continuing education units.”  Mr. Dailey was awarded his Third Cluster, which is awarded for, “Board Members who have received between 220 and 329 hours of continuing education units.”
