Combs Traditional Academy, within the J.O. Combs Unified School District, has proudly participated each year with the school submitting their top ten posters to the contest. This year, CTA was excited to learn that two of their sixth graders were chosen as finalists. Anissa Deel and Dinay Holmes, both students in Amber Sutton's sixth grade class, now have the opportunity to attend the Special Awards Ceremony in Florence on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Windmill. They also had an opportunity to enjoy lunch and have their picture taken with Mr. M. Lando Voyles, the Pinal County Attorney at the Old Pinal County Courthouse in Florence on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.
Both girls shared with Ms. Sutton, their teacher, and Mr. Berkshire, Principal at Combs Traditional Academy, that they enjoyed having lunch and meeting the Pinal County Attorney. They are both excited to attend the Special Awards Ceremony in November.
