CPR and Basic Life Support Certification Class Scheduled in San Tan Valley
UPDATE: This class is full and no longer accepting participants.
Residents in San Tan Valley will have an opportunity this spring to receive CPR and Basic Life Support certification through an upcoming training class scheduled for May.
The San Tan Valley CPR certification course will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the San Tan Valley Library, located at 31505 N. Schnepf Road.
The class will run for approximately three hours and will cover CPR and basic life support techniques for adults, children, and infants. Participants will also learn how to properly operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and how to respond to emergencies involving choking and opioid overdose.
Upon completing the course, participants will receive an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification e-card.
The training is limited to 15 participants to allow for hands-on instruction and individual guidance during the class. Organizers say that individuals who register after the class reaches capacity will be placed on a list for priority consideration when future classes are scheduled.
CPR and basic life support training can provide valuable skills for responding to medical emergencies at home, in the workplace, or in the community.
Residents interested in attending can sign up through the class registration link here.
