• Diuretics (fluid tablets) encourage fluid loss, which can quickly lead to dehydration
• Opioids and sedatives can reduce awareness of physical discomfort

• Limit outdoor activities.
• Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol.
• Wear light-colored clothing and sunscreen.
