PSA from PCSO: Talk to your kids

PCSO-WANTS-YOU-TO

After three bomb threats in the last week and a half at Mammoth-San Manuel PK-12, the series of hoaxes show a disheartening trend.

First, a threat was found written in a bathroom. The second, made on social media. And on Monday, the third was also found written in a bathroom.

While all three threats have been found not to be credible, PCSO takes all of them seriously. A student can face felony charges, even if they are under 18 years old.

In the first two instances, PCSO has arrested two separate students. The first is facing charges of Terroristic Threats and Disruption of an Educational Institution. The second was booked for Disruption of an Educational Institution.

The third case is still under investigation.

"Making a threat like this can affect a student for the rest of their lives," said Sheriff Mark Lamb. "I urge parents to talk to their children about the choices they make. They need to know it is never OK to make a joke about bringing a gun or a bomb to their school."

Mark Lamb should know about making threats. After he sent unwanted nude photographs of himself to a female, he then threatened her on two or more occasions because she COMPLAINED! His actions may have constituted a class 5 felony. See more at SheriffMarkLamb.com
