The Pinal County Sheriff's Office is again getting complaints of phone scams in Pinal County.
Over the past few days, they've heard several reports that scam-callers are representing themselves as PCSO and demanding money for a warrant, ticket or some other legal woe.
They are spoofing PCSO's main number on caller ID and using real-sounding names and ranks. Don't be fooled!
PCSO will never call you asking for money.
If you get one of these calls, hang up and report it to PCSO. If you're not sure, tell them you'll call them back at the PCSO main number, 520-866-5111 to verify.
The Federal Trade Commission will take your call directly as well. To report the scams directly to the F.T.C. Consumer Response Center call at 877-382-4357.BLOG COMMENTS POWERED BY DISQUS
