PCSO PHONE SCAM ALERT
Scammers claiming to be Pinal County Sheriff deputies have once again been placing fake calls to residents, demanding payment for missed jury duty.
This time, they were able to obtain and use a woman's credit card information, but thankfully it was quickly flagged as fraud.The Pinal County Sheriff's Office will never call you to notify you that you missed court or failed to show up for jury duty. We will never ask you to pay any amount over the phone.
If you receive a call like this, hang up immediately and do not give any personal information or payment.
