Pinal County's Animal Care & Control Foster Incentive Program is Here to Stay

Pinal County Animal Care & Control (PCACC) has announced the continuation of its celebrated Foster Incentive Program following a highly successful holiday season run. This initiative, which provides financial incentives to foster caregivers, is a testament to the county's commitment to improving animal welfare. The program details a straightforward process for interested participants to engage with staff, understand the eligibility and requirements for fostering, and earn weekly compensation for their compassionate efforts.

Fosters who find permanent homes for their temporary furry friends will be rewarded with an additional gift card, encouraging adoption and recognizing the dedication of these volunteers. Although there are specific considerations for the suitability of foster homes, particularly for single-pet households, the program is an open invitation to the community to make a direct impact on the lives of animals in need.

PCACC emphasizes the simplicity of joining the foster program, with a variety of animals available and staff ready to assist in matching potential fosters with pets. For those unable to commit long-term, the Field Trip program offers a unique opportunity to provide short-term relief for shelter dogs.

To apply to become a foster family, residents can apply directlyonline here.

This program not only aids in the welfare of animals but also fosters a deeper community spirit by engaging residents in a meaningful and rewarding service. To learn more about the foster program click here.
