AJPD Seeking Public Assistance on Sexual Assault

The Apache Junction Police Department is releasing the following information about a sexual assault.

On January 28, 2018, at 0430 hours, Apache Junction Police Officers responded to an address on E. Junction Ave in the City of Apache Junction reference a sexual assault. The assault was to have occurred in an unknown desert area within Apache Junction.

The reporting party informed the police that his girlfriend came home extremely distressed stating that there was a crazy man outside their home and he had sexually assaulted her. The boyfriend immediately went outside and saw a male white in a newer (2011-2015-ish) white dodge pickup truck with a work/ladder rack rapidly backing out of the driveway and speed away.

The victim detailed she had met the male subject (introduced only as Brandon) at the Lucky Strikes Bar in Apache Junction who offered to give her a ride home. The suspect then took victim to an unknown location in the desert where he sexually assaulted her. The victim was later able to convince the offender to drop her off at her home.

  • Build: Little muscular and chubby
  • Distinguishing feature: Straight teeth
  • Age: Approximately 32 – 38 (under 40)
  • Height: Approximately 5’7” – 5’10”
  • Weight: Approximately 185
  • Skin Tone: Tan
  • Eye Color: Unknown
  • Hair Color: Brown
  • Hair: Straight, top longer than sides. Sides not shaved or shaggy
  • Tattoos: None observed
  • Language/Accent: English with no accent
